Alligator Adventure in Myrtle Beach - A big outdoor zoo park that focuses mainly on reptiles, but they've got a bunch of different animals there.

T.I.G.E.R.S. Preservation Station - Another part of Barefoot Landing, a local wildlife preservation organization brings out rare tigers for people to see and learn about for most of the year.

Battleship North Carolina Memorial - It's actually in North Carolina, but it's within an hour's driving distance and a great attraction for war history buffs.

Ripley's Aquarium - One of the premier family attractions in Myrtle Beach, Ripley's Aquarium is a huge, 87,000 square foot aquarium that is South Carolina's most visited attraction.

Children's Museum of South Carolina - A museum designed primarily for kids - it's got a lot of educational activities that are designed to be fun at the same time, so you can trick your kids into learning despite their best efforts to avoid it.

Brookgreen Gardens - The nation's first sculpture garden, a huge outdoor area that is basically a garden museum to sculpture.

Huntington Beach State Park - A beautiful state park that has tons of birds living there, camping, and a well-maintained beach.

Waccatee Zoo - A privately owned zoo that evolved gradually from a collection of animals, it is a big, outdoor area with animals in enclosures where they can roam around.

Hampton Plantation - A rice plantation that is now a South Carolina state historic site, complete with a huge mansion and regular tours.

Hobcaw Barony - This is a cluster of plantations that has been turned into a wildlife preserve / historical site, and it is open to tourists.

Ingram Planetarium - A very educational attraction for anyone interested in astronomy or stargazing, this is located just a little to the north just inside North Carolina.

Legends in Concert - A celebrity impersonation show in Myrtle Beach, they have impersonators sing the greatest hits of a number of different celebrities.

Alabama Theater - A theatre in North Myrtle Beach that plays "One: The Show" along with celebrity concert tours.

Dixie Stampede in Myrtle Beach - This is a North-South competition that you watch while having dinner. It includes a variety of performances - horse tricks, magic, competition, and all kinds of family fun.

Sea Mist Oceanfront Resort - A cheaper, discount resort that is geared towards families and also has a lot of golf packages.

Coral Beach Resort - A decent-quality resort with a number of amenities.

Barefoot Golf Resort - A little pricey, but it's got good quality, many golf trip options, and several good courses on the resort.

Long Bay Resort - Another somewhat more expensive resort, but it is also very high quality.

Bay Watch Resort - A decent resort in North Myrtle Beach.

Crabby Mike's - Information on Crabby Mike's, an all-you-can-eat seafood buffet restaurant in Myrtle Beach that has won "Best of the Beach" awards and is pretty popular.

Original Benjamin's - Another all-you-can-eat seafood place that is considered one of the best.

Sam's Corner - A hot-dog and burger joint that is a Myrtle Beach classic.

The Crab House - A national seafood chain that has several locations here. 

Sea Captain's House Restaurant - A highly recommended local seafood place with a great view.

The Carolina Roadhouse - A steakhouse with a lot of other random menu items thrown in for good measure, it's generally considered one of the best restaurants in the area.

Pier 14 Restaurant and Lounge - A restaurant located on a fishing pier. Like you'd think, they mostly specialize in seafood, but there's other stuff as well.

Spring House Family Restaurant - A family-oriented restaurant which is great for people who want a place they can bring the kids.
