Anderson Ocean Club and Spa in Myrtle Beach SC  

A newer luxury hotel that sits directly on the beach, the Anderson Ocean Club and Spa is situated in the center of Myrtle Beach, very close to many of the city’s major attractions, including Broadway at The Beach, Freestyle Amusement Park, and many others. Housed in an attractive high-rise building, it recently received a nod from Expedia when it appeared on their Insiders Select list, which considers value, travelers opinions, and input from hotel industry insiders when selecting hotels for this honor.

 

 

The luxury condominiums available at Anderson Ocean Club are elegantly appointed with upscale furnishings, decorative tile inlays, cherry cabinetry, granite countertops, luxurious bedding, and much more. Guests at this resort may choose from a number of different styles of units ranging from one to three bedrooms with various bed configurations. The smallest condos sleep 2 while Anderson Ocean Club’s largest units can accommodate as many as 11 guests. Many of the units are ocean front while others are ocean “view”, offering a limited view of the water and the beach. Each condo has a very spacious full kitchen, which includes a coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, range/oven and dishwasher. For the convenience of guests, all units include a washer and dryer as well. In addition, the living room and each bedroom in the condo are equipped with large, flat-screen televisions. Some units are available monthly as well.

The onsite amenities at the Anderson Ocean Club and Spa include two outdoor pools and a 200-foot oceanfront sun deck for catching rays. In addition, there’s a 5-person hot tub outside by the pools and a leisurely lazy river that’s a big hit with the kids. Inside, guests will find a heated pool and kiddie pool and a 12-person hot tub. In addition, a fitness center accommodates those who want to fit a little exercise into their vacation or business trip.

The Awakening Spa at the Anderson Ocean Club in Myrtle Beach is reason enough for many people to make this resort their home base when visiting the area. Open daily, the spa offers a huge list of services including several different kinds of massages, facials, and much more. Special packages lump several services together or you can choose just one. The spa also features a salon where guests can make appointments for hair and nail services. Special men’s packages are available as well and the spa can accommodate bridal parties with advance arrangements. Appointments for treatments are strongly suggested, especially in the summer months.

There is no restaurant at the Anderson Ocean Club but there is an oceanfront tiki bar – The B Bar – which is open daily in season. Numerous restaurants are within walking distance of the hotel and many others are just a short drive away.

The resort offers golf packages through much of the year, which includes the opportunity to play at one or more of the many golf courses in the Grand Strand area. Group rates are available for golf packages.
