The Barefoot Golf Resort

The Barefoot Golf Resort is a resort located in North Myrtle Beach that has both condominium-style rooms and a selection of more traditional hotel rooms. It's not on the beach itself, but is located near an interior waterway which you have a view of. They have pools, plenty of parking, and a good location that is positioned near many of the most popular golf courses which dot the area.

There are actually several popular courses that are part of the Barefoot Resort itself. The Dye Course is one created by Pete Dye, which is semi-private and accessible to guests. It runs along the edge of the resort. The Norman Course is by Greg Norman that runs along the waterway near the resort. The Love Course by Davis Love III is unique in that it includes the ruins of an old plantation home in several of its holes. Finally, the Fazio Course by Tom Fazio is a European-style course in the heart of South Carolina.

The Barefoot Golf Resort is a little more expensive than some of the other resorts, but it is good quality and an excellent resort for anyone considering a golf trip, because you can get package deals on their site here and because they have their own resort courses along with a good location for getting to any others you're interested in. It's also very close to Barefoot Landing, which is a popular tourist area. If you're on a budget, I'd look at another place, if you're going for a golf outing, this is one you should consider.
