The Breakers Resort is a beachfront resort that consists of three hotels: The Breakers New Paradise Tower, the Breakers Resort Hotel, and The Breakers Boutique North Tower. Between the three of them, they have a very large variety of apartment-style rooms you can stay in, some with very good views of the ocean. They have swimming pools, a mini-waterpark at the resort with a lazy river, an indoor pool, a pool for the kids with a pirate ship playhouse, and several lounges and restaurants in the area and on the resort. They also sell golf packages that include play time at a big selection of the local golf courses with your hotel included.

This is a cheaper resort, so you are trading quality for a better deal on the price. It's not one of the best resorts, but it is a good deal for the generally lower prices they're asking. Some of the rooms are a little older. The North Tower is supposedly of a little better quality (the Resort Hotel is the oldest one of the three). Some people have complained online about the pools not being cleaned frequently enough. The best advice I've seen is that if you're looking for a resort to spend most of your vacation time, you should probably splurge and pay for a more expensive place. If you want a decent "home base" and will be seeing the rest of Myrtle Beach, the cheaper resorts like Breakers Resort are going to be a better deal for you.
