The Cal Ripken Experience is a baseball camp for kids located in Myrtle Beach. They have tournaments between teams set up in the camp, and they have their own facilities complete with seven different baseball diamonds (5 youth and 2 regulation size). They also have a number of different practice facilities, including batting cages, pitching mounds, and bunting fields.
The Ripken Experience offers both tournaments and summer camps, each of which lasts 3-5 days. That makes it a great excuse for a family vacation - it will occupy your kids who play baseball, and you and the rest of the family can go explore the rest of Myrtle Beach while they enjoy practicing and improving their skills. The kids, along with their coaches, are put up in the Myrtlewood Villas, which you can read about here. They're nice apartments, and the teams get to stay together.
They also give each player an "All-Access Pass" that gets them into a number of different local attractions, and they will have some time in the evenings to use it - so if just the team is going, their coach can escort them around for a fun time.
All in all, either the camps or the tournaments are a great way for your kids to enjoy baseball and a vacation at the same time. They'll get at least 6 games in at a tournament, which is a good deal of practice against other teams who are serious about the sport. They'll play at professional facilities, and have coaching tips from former big league players - a good, fun experience for the players.
