Kart Trax is an indoor go-kart racing track in Myrtle Beach. Because of the popularity of NASCAR in the area, there are quite a few racing tracks like this in the area. Kart Trax boasts of having the fastest go-karts in Myrtle. They've got twin engine, 33 horsepower karts. They're probably right about the go-karts themselves, though you can find go kart places nearby that will allow adults with a driver's license to race what are basically miniature versions of a NASCAR vehicle. Kart Trax doesn't have that, but it does have a slower course for the kids and a fast-paced one for adults. Races last about 5 minutes, and it costs $13 a race on the adult track, $5 a race on the kids one. They also sell 5-10 race packages that are a little bit cheaper on the adult track. They also have RC racing with little remote control cars.
Besides racing, they've got general amusement stuff like an arcade, pool tables, air hockey, and space for holding birthday parties there. Overall, it's a pretty fun go-kart place for a family outing.
