Legends in Concert at Myrtle Beach

One of the great Myrtle Beach hallmarks is the Legends in Concert show, which is a celebrity impersonation show featuring look-alikes of famous singers. The impersonators include people who look like Dolly Parton, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Elivs, Kenny Rogers, Reba, Garth Brooks, the Blues Brothers, and more. They rotate them out, and most are pretty good at singing too - they're not the real thing, but they do the famous top hits of the artists they're impersonating. The good thing about the rotation is that it's never really the same show - if you go back to Myrtle Beach on another vacation, you're going to see a different group of people. The bad thing is that it's hard to tell you whether you're going to like it or not, as the quality of the people doing it can be inconsistent. The best bet is to check out their lineup on their web site here before you go - make sure the performers are doing celebrities that you are interested in. They usually put up pictures of the people doing the impersonations - some look very close to the actual celebrities, some only vaguely like them.

The tickets cost in the $15-20 for kids and $30 to $35 for adults. The shows run Monday through Saturday for the entire year, with a couple of holidays off.
