The Sea Captain's House is a seafood restaurant with a prime location: right on the beach, so you've got an oceanfront view. That makes it great around sunset for a nice dinner - but people rave about the lunch specials as well. It's on the Strip, which is a line of businesses along the beachfront area. It's been around for about 30-40 years, after the owners of a beachfront house were prevented from selling it to a motel developer after economic problems and decided to operate a temporary restaurant - which turned into a permanent one.
Some of the recommended dishes are the crab casserole, the avocado seafood salad, and the she-crab soup. The only con is that the children's menu is a little expensive. For adults, it's about $10-25 to eat depending on what you get and whether it's lunch or dinner.
The address of the Sea Captain's House:
3002 N. Ocean Blvd.
