Sheraton Broadway Plantation in Myrtle Beach
Located across the street from Myrtle Beach’s popular Broadway at the Beach dining, shopping, and entertainment complex, and just a short drive from the beach and other attractions, Sheraton Broadway Plantation Resort Villas is close to everything guests want to visit but far removed from the hubbub and traffic of the busy downtown area. Set in the midst of an attractively-landscaped property, this low-rise lodging option is a member of the Starwood family of hotels and, as such, boasts the quality that has come to be associated with the name.
The guest “villas” at Sheraton Broadway Plantation come in a choice of three different configurations. The 500 square-foot one-bedroom villa sleeps up to four guests and includes a master bedroom with queen bed, a separate living area with sofa bed, a modern bathroom, and a kitchenette with microwave, cook top, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, and cookware. The one-bedroom premium villa is almost twice the size of the standard one-bedroom unit and includes a full kitchen with range/oven, dishwasher, and all the other appliances listed above. The master suite has a king bed and a Jacuzzi tub and there’s also a private patio. A table for six is available in the dining area and a stereo entertainment center is also featured. Sheraton Broadway Plantation’s spacious two-bedroom unit includes sleeping quarters for up to 8 guests with a king bed in the master bedroom and 2 full-sized beds in the second room. There’s still a separate living area with a sofa bed as well as all of the amenities of the one-bedroom units. In addition, the two-bedroom unit boasts three TVs. Additional amenities in all the rooms include ceiling fans, in-room safes, iron and ironing board, washer and dryer, hairdryer, VCR, cable television, and free wireless high speed internet access.
Outside of their guest rooms, visitors can enjoy a number of activities. There’s a large outdoor pool for hot days as well as a hot tub and children’s pool, surrounding by dozens of lounge chairs. Also on site are basketball and tennis courts for the use of all guests. Inside, kids will enjoy the game room, which features a variety of new and vintage games, and there’s a fitness room for the adults, which includes both free weights and cardio equipment. Children staying at the Sheraton Broadway Plantation Resort can take advantage of the organized activities offered by the staff while parents relax at the pool.
There isn’t a formal sit-down restaurant located at the Sheraton but, in season, Sunnie’s Poolside Bar and Grill offers refreshing drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, as well as burgers, sandwiches, salads, and other light fare. Just across the street at Broadway at the Beach, there are more than two dozen places to enjoy a full-service dinner or a quick bite to eat.
This hotel does not offer meeting or event facilities,
but it is located just a short drive from the Myrtle Beach Convention
Center, which boasts many meeting rooms, exhibit halls, and ballrooms.
