T.I.G.E.R.S. Preservation Station in Myrtle Beach, SC

T.I.G.E.R.S., which stands for The Institute of Greatly Endangered and Rare Species, is a group that is dedicated to preserving a rare species of tiger called the Golden Tabby Tiger, as well as rare animals in general. They have a number of tigers of all different kinds at their wildlife preserve in North Myrtle Beach, along with many other endangered species raised there as well.

You can see the animals of the preserve at the Preservation Station, which is located at Barefoot Landing, a big outdoor shopping boardwalk in North Myrtle. They are open for most of the year to visitors for free (March through September) - though because they are a non-profit, it helps if you buy a gift or give a donation if you agree with their cause. They've got some neat things you can do out there, including getting your picture taken sitting next to an adult tiger or with a baby tiger cub in your lap. They bring a number of different kinds of tigers out there, including bengals, siberian tigers, and the rare Golden Tabby.

They have a map of how to get to the preservation here on their web site. You can go to the site in general here for information on tigers in general, their mission, and their animal training / stunt activities.
